Okay Ya’ll,
Picture going into Ulta, seeing the flat iron you want and the price tag says it costs $299. Dismayed though you are, you still carry on and take the straightener to the cashier to check out. Then when she scans it, the flat iron rings up to be under $50.
Oh the glee that would be on all your faces if this happened to any one of you. I know I would be hopping up and down, running out of the store before they could change their minds.
Fortunately, this supposedly hypothetical situation can not only happen but it gets better. You don’t even have to go to the store. You can get it on Amazon. And hey the flat iron makes your hair kinda awesome too.
Now, I’m a bit ashamed to admit that once again, I’ve found a flat iron that I hadn’t really heard of until maybe a few months ago (me the so called flat iron guru). But no matter. As long as it knocks it out of the park, who cares?
The HSI Ceramic and Tourmaline Ionic Flat Iron (that comes with a free Biosilk Sample) is another straightener that is loved by its users. Yes this is the flat iron mentioned in my little scenario. Cool, right? I don’t know how it can be that cheap. Some things don’t need an explanation.

Antways, here is the details for the HSI (my comments in red):
– Straighten, flip and curl your hair (great because you want to be able to do multiple things with your flat iron)
– Adjustable temperature from 240 oF to 410oF (120oC – 200oC) to suit for all hair types (YES…please only get adjustable temperature flat irons)
– Ceramic/tourmaline ion plates to give a shinier, silkier result in lesser time (ceramic and tourmaline are better together than they are alone)
– 1 inch plate width, wide enough for any hair length and hair types, yet narrow enough for bangs (this is a pretty standard straightener size)
– Transform frizzy, dull hair into gorgeously straight, sleek locks (no explanation necessary…just pure awesomeness)
There is a long product description but this is the most important part:
“Moist ceramic heat with SOLID ceramic plates and coils will maintain even temperature.”
Solid ceramic plates! Score. Now I don’t know if they are 100% ceramic plates but the fact is if the plates are said to be solid you know they are good quality. Which means more beautiful hair for you.
